    Dear Chithra madam,

I tried your Adai recipe and it came out good. I had it with the orange marmalade. It was tasting excellent.

I am yet to try the murabha. Will try to make it soon and let you know the result.

    Thank you
    Shree.

Thanks a lot for the prompt replies Chitra. That you too are using Convection gives me some hopes!
I'm yet to invest in a Electric hand mixer. Do you think it makes a big difference if I use a whisker?
My convection oven, I realised it too late, has a tube for baking instead of a coil. This increases the baking time is what I have felt. Anyways, not much I can do with it. I will have to experiment.

    Thanks again,
    Sunitha

This morning I gave toast with orange marmalade to Vish & I had mu pink smoothy. BUT, I could not resist helping myself generously with plain marmalade! :tongue

    Dear Chithra,
you mentioned that flaxseed can be powdered and preserved. Can you tell me how and how long can be preserved? I have bought some flaxseed and want to keep it ready for making smoothie daily. What about wheat germ and bran? And the cost? I understand they are healthy and would be filling for the stomach.
    Thank you.

Sorry, Humera. I do not know this particular recipe of alaska. Tarla Daal has given a recipe with cake & ice cream. Please search on the net.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear chithramma,

Just now I ground for kanchipuram idli and re-reading your recipe realised that i had soaked 1 cup of boiled rice instead of 50:50 raw and boiledbonk. Will this mistake spoil the idli itself?
