And I found out that I am pregnant. I also did two tests from different brands. Just to make sure that am not dreaming. Absolutely ecstatic! I was so thrilled and cried like a baby, I was so happy. We had been TTC since September. I am excited, but I am nervous too as this is my first pregnancy I want everything to go smoothly. Gave DH a big surprise and he started crying. Met Gyno yesterday she said that am 5 weeks and 5 days and due date is dec 6. I haven’t had a ultrasound yet. No symptoms other than visiting restroom often and very tired.

I am very sure many many more IL friends will join me soon here to share their happy news.

@ Aruna's question regarding what is HPT -

HPT means Home Pregnancy Test. Its a strip where at one end u have to pee, within a minute of two u would get the result if the pregnancy test is positive or negative. There are 3 kinds of HPT-One where the color of the strip changes to either blue or red; 2nd is where u get either a positive sign (plus) or a negative sign (minu), the 3rd and the best is the one which is digital where a clear message 'Pregnant' or 'not pregnant' appears. Digital ones are slightly costlier than the others but i would suggest it is the best, the others can leave u confused at times.

I have a 5 month old and I remember the morning I did my HPT very well.

that's very nice news to know...the first pregnancy feeling will be really gr8...excitement,happiness..a feeling of a baby just for urself..and the added excitement whether it's a boy or girl..shopping for them..it's just a gr8 feeling...

actually my friend who is my neighbour got conceived last yr and had the baby this jan..so i have seen her closely and have shared a lot gr8 moments with her..so i can imagine ur excitement too...i wish u all the best eat well take rest..do a bit of excercise too.. :thumbsup

Congrats. Iam pregnant too I am on my 4th month. Visiting the loo will be one hassle that will be throughout, but dont stop drinking water because of that. Our body needs lots and lots of water. So keep drinking water throughout the day. If u feel u r not able to sleep at night because of frequent visits to the loo, increase ur water intake during the day, and reduce it after evening.

HPT is Home pregnancy test,
TTC is Trying to Conceive.
