Ayurveda for Skin

    This is the thread to discuss the guideline for beautiful skin in Ayurveda. The list of seven layers of skin and diseases which originate from them are as follows:
    • Avabhasini – The outermost layer of skin. Pimples, acne, dandruff etc arise when this layer gets affected by vitiated doshas.
    • Lohita – This is the second layer of skin. Moles, dark circles, black pigmentations occur when vitiated doshas affect this layer.
    • Shweta – The third layer of skin shweta when gets affected by vitiated doshas precipitates the diseases like eczema ,allergic rashes etc
    • Tamra – This is the fourth layer of skin which when affected by doshas harbors different types of leprosy.
    • Vedini – The fifth layer succumbs to herpes when vitiated doshas affect.
    • Rohini – Harbors cancer, tumors, elephantiasis etc when affected by vitiated doshas.
    • Mamsadhara – This is the seventh layer in the body which when affected by vitiated doshas , abscess , fistulas arise.

    Any advise as how one can treat eczema with herbal concotions. If anyone can just tried and tested herbal medicine. Any information will be much appreciated.

    is there any good and experienced ayurveda lady doctors in chennai?
    i have lots of skin and stomach problems, i went to one lady doctor, but unfortunately she has moved to abroad,so i gave up the treatment,pls help me to find a good ayurvedic doctors.pref.lady doctor.

    Hello friends,
    I am new here...I am facing a problem now a days, I went through an accident before 2 months and there were some wounds on my face too...so the whole skin is black now...I dont want to go for an orthopaedic surgery..is there any aurvedic home treatment which can be done to get rid of this blackness...

    There is a good lady doctor in Ayur kshetra hospital in Arumbakkam,Chennai.It is in Panchaliamman street. This doctor`s name is Dr. Sharda Ajalkumar.:)
