    need travel companion for my parents, from chennai to san francisco

    hi all,

    i am looking for a travel companion for my parents, who are traveling from chennai to San francisco on Jan 12 via singapore airlines. they need assistance during transits. If anybody is traveling on that date, pleasee contact me.

    :thumbsupThanks to all who replied for the Travel Companion issue.
    I also need to send my mother-in-law alone to Dubai next month.
    We were all worried really how do we send her alone.
    After reading this thread we got confidence that we have many options to tackle this issue.

    My mum is travelling from Chennai to DFW in Lufthansa via Frankfurt on Feb 2nd 2009.
    She can talk Telugu, Tamil. She can understand Kannada, Malayalam little English. She needs help in changing flights.Let me know if anybody traveling in same date.

    Parents travelling alone

    My parents are travelling alone from india to US (thru frankfurt)to visit us.
    is there any thing regarding customs,immigration i need to educate them when travelling.Any new procedure,please let me know..
    Also i have asked them to carry food for them while travelling,is it ok??
    Will the security allow them carrying food??
