Driving test

bonkHi friends,

I failed my driving test today. i m really very depressed.
Can you please tell me how many more attempts i can give .
i just gotta know from someone that after 3 attempts we have to give written test again.
i am gave my behind the wheels test in california(fremont bay area)

Yep you have 3 chances... Don't Worry You will get be passed in your next test.. Hope for the best.. don't be depressed for it...All the Best :thumbsup

Thanks for the reply dear, but what actually happens if i dont clear it 3 times, and so i have to pay any fee for the remaining attempts.

Hi Cute Teddy,
You get only3 chances to clear road test & if u fail in all these chances your application expires.You have to start all over again i.e give written test again (pay fees) and get permit .

There are free online tests for driving exam. before going to the real exam, you can try them. I found an online test useful. Below is the link.

But there will be a slight difference in each state driving tests.

Hai Cute teddy,

Do not lose hope.. Failing a driving test is not going to be the end of your world. Take this as a lesson to improvise on your mistakes.

Infact I got my driver's test cleared on the 3rd attempt only. Mu huby was my initial guru, but he lost his patience teaching me the Parallel Parking - somehow I could never do it right; and he enrolled me in a nearby Driving school conducted by a lebanese woman.

This is 1.5 years back, when I was 5 months pregnant with my son and I was feeling very sleepy in the morning when I had the tests. I did the parallel parking, front and reverse parking perfectly as instructed by my guru, but I cut the red light on an intersection on my first attempt and I forgot putting the indicator on a right turn in my second attempy. On the 3rd I made sure I was even more careful and I passed the test.

Are you going through a Driving school or is your hubby your guru?

I took driving lessons, and driving with my husband now.
I face some problems in changing lanes rest all seems ok by the grace of almighty.
Any tips friends.

Hi,
seems a long time back,i am sure you have a baby& by now passed the test too.But for others,i recommend takin a few professional lessons,i took those and passed the third time around....professional tips and techniques plus knowledge of the test route/road is a huge advantage

even i passed only the third time around.driving lessons are very helpful as well as practicing around the dmv where you are going to take the test.its ok if you failed once.now at least you know what exactly they expect from you the next time.
