    Hi everyone...

I'm not 100% hindu therefore I have least knowledge about Ubayam.

I wanted to offer sweet rice and tamarind rice for a temple. But I don't know how to do it. Is this what they call "ubayam"?

Another question is, do I need to choose an auspicious date to do this offering?

I will appreciate if someone could assist me on this. Thank you!

    Hi Ixora
    'Ubayam in Tamil means 'courtesy'!
If you are undertaking to offer to God on a particular day, it is called 'ubayam by Ixora'!
Choosing a day is as per your convenience!
For recipes of sweet rice and tamarind rice you can refer to any of the sites in the internet, or even in Indusladies Chitvish recipe columns.
    Wish you all the best.
