    Re: Kambhu Dosai

    Dear Vijee,
Thankyou for the F B . For kambu dosai, onion or mint(or cor) chutney will be best.
I suggest an extra dish. For veg pulao, a raitha is a must - make it without fail.
Apple pie must be kept outside - do not keep in the fridge.
Poli can also be kept outside for upto 2 days.
Curd ice & CVVK can be kept in the fridge in advance.
Have a nice day & earn a "star rating as a hostess" !
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Thanks Chitramma
for the guidelines. I will choose a simple one from your Raithas list and will sure include it.

Just now made dates Halwa (used only 1/4 cup sugar) and came out excellent. I used MW totally and the total process is finished within 10 minutes. Thanks a lot. (I wonder why I didnt try it for so long). Kambhu dosai batter is ready and fermenting.

    Love and rgds

    Dear Harini,
    Try this way.
Make a few folds of thin cloth & keep ready to press on the chappathi.
First on the tava, keep one side of the rolled chappathi. Then turn over. Now the first side again & on it, lightly press with the cloth ball circularly. It will puff up nicely, like a ball. Now flip & remove in 2, 3 secs.
This takes a little practice, but you will definitely get it.
    All the best.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Re: fruit cream

    Hello,
If you don't get custard powder, you can substitute with cornflour + a few drops of vanilla essence.
You can drain fresh curds in thin muslin cloth & add the coompletely drained cream also.
    Love,
    Chithra.
