hi i need to send money to DENA BANK,chennai from US... seems like money2india (ICICI) doesnt deal with DENA BANK for direct transfer and remit2india has some issues in sending money,through thier website... please recommend me any other money transfer website, that is free of charge and gives good exchange rate,for transferring money from US to india...this is urgent, please
I don't know about sending money thru' remit2india but If you are willing to send a draft to the receiver (and not a direct account to account transfer) then you can send it easily thru' ICICI. Let me know if you need any help in this matter!
hi thanks for your response.. sending draft is fine,but the problem is,i want the money to be credited at my NRI account in DENA BANK.. so who will they deliever the DD to and who will make the deposit to my NRI account.....will ICICI does that?
Hi, Try www.xoom.com It is possible to send money to most of Indian Banks using this money transfer.Ihave done is several times and it is good.It takes 3-5 days for transfer. Hope this helps, Sara
