I am very keen to put my son in this school. he is now 6 yrs old. trying for 2nd std.can anyone tell me whether its easy to get admission in this school. i dont know whether they have started giving the aplication or the process has ended. pls. help me out. deepa

Abt DAV school, this year due to large number of students from I std moving to II std and as well to other stds, the school has strictly closed their admissions. If you are lucky, during summer, if any of the students leave due to transfer, there is a slight chance. Pls take note of the school contact numbers. Try making few repeat calls to get the status. 22451845, 22443544 (Mr. Varadarajan) You can also try at Ashram School on Velachery main Road, IIT Kendriya Vidyalaya and Adyar schools are some of the next nearby schools. Re: hello Hi Deepa, My nephew studies there. The school is really good. What I heard from my sis, regarding admission in this school, there are no shortcuts. What type of school are u looking for? CBSe, ICSE, State Board, Metric.. There are lots of good schools based on your son's interest and capabilities available in chennai with low to extremely high fee structure. For school admissions, its better the parents and child are available in Person and try out with the various schools. Otherwise its very very difficult to get through the admission procedures. U know in Chennai and other major cities, parents fill up application forms for pre-KG when the child is born or 6 months old.. -
