Yes, PR is required for some jobs. When you go for an interview, the first thing the recruitment agency will ask is for your passport. They will photocopy the visa & give it back immediately. My husband is already in melbourne but he's residing in CBD.we r planning to take a house in Glen Waverley.But i would like to know which part of Glen waverley is good for residing in terms of play school(which is my main concern),near to railway station as we don't have any plans to buy car for time being. i came across some areas like Forest hills,Burwood east which come under Glen waverley.but i'm confused which areas will be good. pls help out sumathy and other ladies from melbourne. Re: Hello Aussie ladies HI, I live in Canberra. Its pretty quiet compared to Melbourne and Sydney. I dont like Canberra weather. Winters are very cold and Summers are very hot. Esp the windy days.....I've even experienced when the winds were at 85km. Its been almost 8yrs since I came, had 2 kids...but still dont like it here!
