Kissa Laptop ka!!!

Hi all,

सासू माँ बहुत परेशान करती है यार | अभी मेरे भाई को लैपटॉप की बहुत ज़रुरत है | वो बॉम्बे में जॉब करता है. अभी वो अफ्फोर्ड नहीं कर सकता |जब हम लोग भारत में थे लैपटॉप में युस करती थीं पैर जैसे ही मेरे देवर हमारे साथ रहने लगे उन्होंने ढ्हाप लिया | मैंने सोचा कोई बात नहीं |हमारे यहाँ डेस्कटॉप भी था उसपर भी वो अपना हक़ जमाते रहते थे |अब हम लोग अमेरिका आ गए तो सब उनके हवाले कर आये लेकिन अब उन्होंने नया लैपटॉप हम लोग से मंगवाया हमने उनके लिए खरीद दिया.अब वो भी अमेरिका टपक रहे है | तो अभी मेरे भाई को बहुत ज़रुरत है लैपटॉप की वो ज़रुरत के काम कर सकता है पर मेरी सास अपने मायके में किसी स्कूल में जाने वाले अपने भतीजे को वो लैपटॉप देना चाहती है|हमारे यहाँ हमेशा से ऐसा ही हुआ साड़ी चीजे वो अपने मायके में देती रहती है |में कुछ नहीं कहती पर यार इस बार में अपने भाई की ज़रुरत को नज़रंदाज़ नहीं कर सकती | मुझे तो समझ ही नहीं आ रहा |मेरे पति ने ३-४ बार उन दोनों से कहाँ वो लोग पर मानने को ही तैयार नहीं|
में क्या करू यार मुझे कुछ आईडिया दीजिये |

Nini ji,

I am replying in english. Hope you will not mind. Once you give/gift an item to someone, it is theirs. What they do with it is completely their choice only. Many people will not be willing to part with their gifts so easily, especially costly ones like laptop.

If you want to give a laptop to your brother, explain the situation to your husband and ask him to arrange one. Hope this helps.

Hi Nini

If you have urself gifted them the laptop then there is nothing you can you now, its their once gifted.
but if this is not so you can surely ask them but again there is no guarantee if it will work. sadly you can only request them...
best is to buy another one for your brother and in future beware of your inlaws and keep your belongings with yourself.

Hi all,

Thanks a lot for your advices.You know what my husband is so cool.He purchased brand new laptop for my brother without any problem.He told me if you want to gift someone give him new things so that he will not regret about thing.Probably he might have no problem as such in used things.But people around him can tell such thigs.Or he might face some problem with used things of which probably you are not aware of.Better gift him new one.
So we have gifted him new laptop.He is very happy with hi new lappy.
