Hi Mine was an utterly embarasing one dear .. which made me go red in the face .. ofcourse this happened long back... when I was working as secretary to the HR Manager... One day during the meeting instead of saying '' Mr X has reached eligiblity for availing the bedroom furniture allotted by the office , I blurted out to my boss in front of everybody..".He can use our bedroom furniture now ".. the whole lot of people gathered there burst out laughing ... and they sure made it a point not to let me forget the slip for a very very long time...::rotfl:rotfl Bhooma
:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl...hilarious to read both of your slips..I too have made them...but let me recall and get back............ I remember having read that about this slips, like mui kanva's... termed as spoonerism...Made famous by one Dr. Spooner. For saying ..some people think so, he used to say ...some thinkle peep so ..for doing the chores.............chewing the doors ... ..go and take shower..............go and shake the towerBig Laugh
Hi Bhooma I understand how embarasing it would have been...... very similar to this happened to me.. When I was asked to write an essay on how I spent my vacation in my class 4, I wrote "I had fun playing with my baby" instead of writing "I had fun playing with my baby brother"..:hide: I felt so ashamed when the teacher laughed out Big Laugh at me.........
