I just cannot stop myself from letting my tear drop...its so very touching.....i cant stop myself from praising the character of Vishal who is so accomodative and caring...for all this good character, all things have fallen in place in his life - artist wife, loving and talented daughter and at the end of it, a peaceful life!!

Beautiful story exhibiting true love, respect, admiration for the spouse!!

I have seen people succeed in life if they are willing to ignore the stigma or do something unusual...like in this case, marrying a person like Roopa for a person like Vishal is supposed to be out of the ordinary and is like earning un-popularity as people fail to see the magnanimous nature of Vishal and do bad mouthing...but if you look at the long term, they were be perfectly blessed.

This is a super treat and thanks a lot!

    Cheers!

    Dear Anushaa,

Thankyou so much for the lovely FB.
I agree Vishal is a magnanimous character, one that deserves a lot of praise. For many beauty is skin deep , there are very few who look beyond the skin to see the actual person and realise their worth.

I am glad Anushaa you liked the story.

    Love,
    Devika

    My dear Devikutty,

Ini onnum parayaan baki ilya !!!!:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

Great story line and characters who leave an imprint on the mind.:cheers

You have given a positive portrayal about the stigma attached to leukoderma

and what was a drawback in the life of Roopa turned out to be an asset with Vishal

giving her life a new meaning.

I liked the role of Roopas parents Bhargav and Anagha ( beautiful choice of

names ) who sheltered their daughter from the insensitive world and kept her in a

protective cocoon by nuturing her artistic talents and letting her reap the benefits of

all the adulation by proxy from a safe distance. There was something so special

about that parental shield which kept Roopa safely away from the harsh world that

most often looks upon disabilities with disdain.Roopa was fortunate to have Vishal

enter her life thereby assuring a continuation of the same protection.

As a protective husband he went many steps further by giving her the much

needed confidence to face the world despite her condition and enabling her to

blossom forth as a much sought after artist.

Your excellent narration has addressed a huge social problem and is a beacon

light for us to ensure that we go the extra mile to ensure that people like Roopa

will not suffer emotional and psychological trauma leading to low self esteem.

This is a story that tugs at the heart strings!!

Keep at it ......immensely enjoyed it .

    dear devika,
that was an absolute treat to read...but cannot help thinking what a great place this world would be if even half the roopas in this world get a caring vishal like this....anyways..a great narration...

    My Dear Chechi,

Only you could analyse and summarise this way.Chechi I am again requesting you to take to writing full time. You are sure to come up with masterpieces.

Yes Chechi there are many such Roopas who are shielded by their parents for fear of the society that doesnt hold any license in condemning those with any shortcomings.

IT was indeed very fortunate that Vishal fell in love with her. Guess it was destined to be and anyway I feel that true love has to last beyond physical appearances.

I am so glad Chechi you liked the story. To be appreciated by someone like you who is such a fantastic writer herself is like hitting a jackpot.

    Thankyou once again Chechi!!

    Love,
    Devikutty
