    dear maami,

    i saw the photos of chocolate peda in this thread made by sowminivibu, i was so impressed imme. i started looking for that in the index unfortunately i couldn't find them both in the easy search for the index,, index . also she said she made it in the microwave. i also checked the microwave section. hope chocolate fudge is diff from chocolate peda. can u pls send me the link for making the chocolate peda in microwave. am thinking of doing it today. thanx a lot

    mini thattais

    Hello Chithramma,

    I have put pillayar suzhi with mini thattais:thumbsup it seems to be the fav snack with IL's this year. I know you'll be online now so giving instant FB. Fab, fab, fab. i hope there is something left to take pictures. my son and DH are attacking like anything. I also added curry leaf powder.

    Now what is my FB without questions... my thattais are white. I see all thattai pictures brown.. how?

    off to the kitchen again:)

    Believe me, my first batch came pure white! I think it depends on the rice flour quality.
    Good, if amily attacks, it means they are certifying it!! What more do you ask for?

    Today's FB (other than bakshnam).. brunch/lunch aappam from frozen maavu. You're absolutely right, Chithramma . It's softer than freshly fermented maavu.
    My PP came to rescue for dinner. Somedays i'm utterly confused with deciding menu. Made jain cauliflower-peas pulao. DH couldn't believe it was done so fast. I added 1/2 cup milk and 1.5 cups water. I think it did taste quite different.

    Thanks for your reply. I did not use Food processor for making savoury dough, shall definetly keep your tip in mind and use FP for making dough next time when I make savouries.
