    Dear Chithu

    Yday made Khoa nut burfi.....I got the sugar syrup right and when removing from fire i think i removed it a bit late......so half of the quantity i pidichufied as balls as i felt it might not hape into burfis..but the taste was very nice...Attaching a photo of the same..

    You can try halwa when you get liquid glucose, no problem!

    Today evening i made Milakai Bajji. It was very nice and tasty. Your ingredients for stuffing is so nice. Measurements used for the stuffing exactly came for 250gms of Green chillies. You are very great madam . Always u will give correct measurements.As i have not added green chillies in the stuffing ,stuffing become a little sweet .Otherwise everything perfect. Today family members had a good evening snack. Immediately after coming from kitchen i am giving my fb to u.

    Thank you so much for the compliment and am really proud of the fact that kathli came out very well. Today made Mysore pak and it has also come out exceptionally well, it melts in the mouth. Frying the besan has made a lot of difference and andha patcha smell illai.

    When are you going to visit Malaysia? You came so near to our place..... Singapore......you should have come to KL too.......please visit us and honour us too......I am unable to attach the picture of the kaju kathli and Mysore pak, I tried uploading but it's rejecting it. I have also cropped the size to fit. Will try again.

    I bought panasonic automatic rice cooker for deepawali . what is the use of keeping plate in it. can i use normal idly stand for cooking idly?

    Since some chillies are basically hot, I don't add green chillies or chilli powder. I am glad it came out well.
    Infact, I learnt this from my niece who was living in H'bad!!

    Dear Kripa, I do not understand your question about the plate. There is usually a plate with holes inside the cooker. I use with it only!
    If idli stand fits inside, you can use.
