Yes, it is and I like that it has a whole lot of characters that you read about back and forth... keeps the suspense and the storyline interesting.

dont laugh, the books i'm reading at present are CHINESE BRUSH PAINTING and PAINTING WITH ACRYLICS!
I'm desperately trying to learn chinese brush painting on my own - but not happening, am also not able to find a place teaching this acc to my convenient timings!Big Laugh

Su, No laughing matter.........It is more difficult to learn from books and you must be really wanting to do this to go to these lengths Hope to see some of your painting soon then,

 

Finished reading 'Valkyries' by Paulo Coelho. Managed to finish it since I was on the London tube for a good long time. This book is on the same lines as Pilgrimage - a journey of self discovery for the author, however Valkyries includes his wife as well.

Like most of his books so far, very different and leaves a profound impact on your thinking.

Both Pilgrimage and Valkyries will go into my 'to be bought for the personal library' list though I'm not sure when the library will materialise!!

Just started reading 'Remember Me?' by Sophie Kinsella. She's one of my fav authors. If you haven't read any of her books, do give it a try. She wrote the 'Shopaholic' series and the 'Undomestic Goddess'. Light read, but hilarious.

I am reading 'Map of Bones' by James Rollins.I mostly read historical fiction nowadays since I don't get much time and pick up something which is not bulky.
