    Hi Friends,

I hear that Neelibhringadi oil is a good remedy for hair loss, dandruff, premature greying and other hair problems. However, since I read mixed reviews on the net, I want to know if anyone has a firsthand experience with this oil.

Please comment on three specific aspects-
    1. The fragrance. How bearable it is.

    2. It is advised to apply this oil every alternate night and wash off the next morning or for people prone to cold, it is advised to apply this oil a couple of hours before hair bath. Is the oil too sticky or is it easy to wash off? Does it leave the fragrance behind?

    3. Which is the mild yet effective shampoo that goes well with this?

Please write back with your experiences.

    Thanks.

Yes it has strong fragnance... ofcourse i liked too:)

As am prone to cold i never used to apply it over night.
Just apply, leave it for 10-15 mins and then wash.

Now a days i dont use it.

Thanks a lot asharvi67 for your immediate reply. So the fragrance is bearable. I am glad to hear that. :) Now please take some time out to address these questions, if you don't mind.
Is the oil too sticky? I mean does one have to struggle to wash it off?

How often would you apply it? Does one have to apply every alternate day or so?

How long does it take to show the results i.e. improvement in hair condition?

    Hi,

Not an issue... am glad that i am able to help u out:)

No the oil is not too sticky and any normal shampoo would suffice. I used Himalaya product to rinse it off.

Also as i had mentioned earlier... am prone to cold... so i use it only when i take headbath... twice a week. Apply 10 -15 mins before bath and rinse it well.

I have heard (from my friends) that they apply it over night...and they were quiet comfortable.

I found that result was good within few days of using the oil...

But i stopped using it coz i felt i get cold too often... y take risk..! This is just my view... u may try it atleast once and then decide whether it suits u.

    Good luck.
