    Hello IL ladies

I just wanted to ask about everybody's experience during labor and delivery??? My doctor keeps telling me that I am very close and I had false labor pains last week... but alas to no avail. Please tell me if you all delivered on your due date, before or after. Thanks

    Dear Desi

I delivered one month before my due date because of hypertension and GD.I know a friend who delivered about 1 week after her due date. So,pls relax. This is very common.

    Dear Princess,

Please dont worry. I gave birth to both my children before my due dates. I am sure your baby and your body will know the right time for delivery. Please try to relax...your delivery will happen soon.

    Regards,
    Jothi.

    Hi..
I delivered after a week after my Due date that too my gyn had to induce me. Mine was normal delivery. So dont worry as somebody said baby knows when to come out & due date is just an appoximation.

    Re: Delivery-date ?

    hello

    white discharge and pain
    sometimes false
    if white discharge continues
    for more than a day
then u can be sure it will be just a week
before the little one is born

    take jeera water(cumin)
    warm..

    deep breathe
dont travel or due strenous work
    exercise right

    if u know
    exercise the lamaze way..
or just deep breathe to get over pain

the pain is not always heavy for all
and it can be tolerated with deep breathing
the little one is worth the ah ahas and hoos
    pain will be ``poye poche''
    once the little one arrives

soon s(he) will smile and gurgle
    turn over and dimple
    toss over and mumble
    congrats proud new mom...!!

    Re: Delivery-date ?

    Hello Desiprincess,

Patience, patience, patience...to see your little prince(ss)!

I delivered my baby early (in 37 1/2 weeks) but it was a planned c-section due to emergency reasons.

Now, here is something which you would love to know...

My s-i-l has 2 lovely daughters. Both of them were born a week late of their original due dates.

So it depends and like someone here already said the little one knows when to come into this world as per God's plan!

Have a safe delivery and look forward to know about your little one.
Our prayers are there for you.

    Malathy

    Re: Delivery-date ?

    Dear Princess,
For my first delivery , It happened one day after the due date.
For second , pain started only after one week of the due date. I think walking is the best exercise and it makes delivery easy.

    Re: Delivery-date ?

    Dear Malathy and Safa
Thanks for your answers. I keep getting false labor with is basically Braxton-hicks but nothing that is significant. I guess, i'll just wait for the baby. Thanks again and keep posting.
