I got it done. Its safe and I feel I should have done it long back. One tip - don't go to a salon or spa. Go to a dermatologist clinic who offers this service.

Yes, it’s safe. Make sure you get it done in a reputable place.

one of my friend went for laser treatment she use to visit dermatologists office once every six months..its not like a permanent treatment but do reduce the hair...after its done we do have little burn sensation after a while it will go off.i use to get laser treatment for my scar which didnt help instead i wasted lot of money on that..

Thank you ladies..my concern is underarm air and especially during summer..

I was thinking to try laser hair removal but somewhat apprehensive about it..

coz it is still against the natural process :)

But seems to be safe maybe..but I thought it was permanent removal?

Coz it seems to be costly and spending thousands of dollars only and then hair grows back means..

    It is quite a costly
    Procedure right?

@anika987 go ahead and do it. It is a biggg relief from having to clear your underarms in the summer frequently. I did 3 sessions for underarm giving 1 month gap for each.
i shaved a few times before when i was young and my underarm hair was getting too much to handle. then I was epilating here for a year or so before i decided to get it lasered.
Now i can just go without epilating the whole of winter and there would be so little hair which from far would not be seen at all.
it is truly a relief during the summer. i can wear sleeveless whenever i want to. It's liberating.

and oh i did this is India [bangalore]

I too did it for that. Its such a relief not to wax regularly. If you are in Bay Area PM me I can send you the clinic I went to. It was about 900$ for 6 sessions.
