The child's teen years can be challenging for even the most wisest of parents. Each day, week and month generates new drama and unfamiliar situations. Parents have to find ways to navigate through these while also not alienating the child further. Thanks to @hrastro and @Srama for their responses when a parent posted one such situation. How To Understand My Teen response by @hrastro How To Understand My Teen response by @Srama Thank you Viswa for bringing this invaluable posts to FP.
Thank you @maalti for seconding the nomination of these posts: Response by @Thyagarajan in Filter Coffee Narration by @Thyagarajan Dung, Devotion & Dangle
Rihana, Genuine apologies for not getting started sooner. I will make sure I don't falter here on out. I have always admired women who work around their adversities and somehow overcome. Most of the time, they don't know their own resilience. Take for instance @Moonlight89 in her response to her own thread - Extremely Distressing And Humiliating Behavior By Husband Moonlight, even though she wasn't finding the support from her own parents, undergoing health issues and having two young children, was able to somehow get clarity on exactly what she wanted. She proceeded to do so on her own terms, despite all of the hurdles and hindrances that paved her path. She has reached a stage where she is prioritizing herself and knows when she will give in. If this isn't overcoming adversity, what is? I would like to nominate @Moonlight89 for FP!
Rihana, I earmarked this post for FP and then life came in the way! I'm glad I had the url copied if not, I would have missed highlighting this post by @candidheart How To Understand My Teen This, is so true! After having experienced various flavors of it, I can agree with this. You probably can too. This is such an apt example. I too learned from this. The focus is always supposed to be how we can do differently. How we can help the children as they go through their one of the most difficult and life altering phases in life. I love this! I would like to nominate candid heart for FP!
Rihana, @beautifullife30 is mesmerizing us with her wisdom today. I read two awesome posts from her today. Take a look at Varamahalakshmi Bangles -- Returned Back I saw the OP this morning and didn’t know how to respond to this hurt neighbor even though I wanted to. Beautiful life with all her usual tips has done more than console this poster. She made her feel happy and the poster came back to mention that. There isn’t anything more I can say when the OP has given her wholehearted approval for the post. Any gift giver needs to know it’s for you not for the other person and cherish that feeling. Such an awesome point. Once we have given something to someone it’s not in our hands. The best tip of all. Still down, consider it the perfect ending! I would like to nominate beautiful life for FP.
