Housemate Among Indians

I read an article about Single seniors in USA have started a very satisfying new trend. Retired single females with big houses instead of downsizing, they share their homes with other single ladies than living alone. I am in a similar situation

I rather not live with my offspring whose lives are packed; besides, I like living in my house on the lake. The only problem is I feel very lonely and wish I could find a housemate. Any thoughts among my fellow ILs?
