July 1st marks the first day of the second half of the year. A good time to step back and examine one’s life over the past six months. Be it about exercise, diet, relationships, career, social media, self-care or the power in keeping things simple. Maybe some renewed resolutions for the rest of the year.

It’s been great to see new names among the FP nominators and nominees. May this trend continue. A few black dots to ward off any evil eyes: ..... :grinning:

Happy July, folks. You be nice to the month. :grinning:

Then, you are a richer man, for Oscar Wilde said:
"Good resolutions are simply checks that men draw on a bank where they have no account."

    Hi Rihana,
My first nomination for this month goes to @Srama's excellent advice on this very sensitive issue School Issues With 4 Year Old. She summed up what to steps to take very well in her detailed post.

Thank you dear @Mistt for the nomination. I do hope that the OP finds value in whatvwe are all suggesting and finds a solution.
Dealing with students day in and day out helps me understand them better and giftedness also requires support and we have to advocate for our children at the right time and the right way. I appreciate the nomination

Viji sweetheart, thank you again for the bhoni.

Babies come with no instructions yet the world is full of people ready to judge parents right from the time the mother announces her good news.

@Anusha2917 in her post Daughter Has No Social Anxiety! has shown us just how deeply parents care about their child's welfare and how much effort they put into finding answers. It also shows the immense relief and support that parenting groups and the internet can provide if used wisely.

Response by @Srama in School Issues With 4 Year Old

"It takes a village to raise a child." ~ African proverb.

The proverb should be: "It takes a village to raise a parent."

If I had to redo this parenting and school years thingie, I'd run away to a village where every house had a person like @Srama. Yes, I would. That's my plan and I am sticking to it.

Solid suggestions to a concerned grandma from one of IL's best. Thank you @Mistt for bringing this to FP. Because of long weekend maybe, not many seem to have read that thread.
