Master & Servant Lord Sri Rama asked Hanuman ji , “who are you?” & “ Hanuman! How do you look upon me?” Hanuman ji answered, “O Rama, when I have body consciousness, you are my master and I am your servant; when I am conscious of myself as a soul, then you are the whole, and I am a part; when I have the knowledge of Atman, then I am you, and you are I. This is my definite and firm opinion.” Hanuman ji's answer is a much needed answer in the present times when people are hell bent on disproving the philosophical convictions of each other. In Hanuman ji's answer one can find all the three visions, namely, Dvaita, Visishtadvaita and Advaita in a wonderful harmony. The above conversation has been quoted by Sri Ramakrishna in The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna. After quoting this conversation between Sri Ram and Hanuman ji, Sri Ramakrishna says, “This is also my definite and firm opinion.” (A share from WhatsApp)
Dear Thyagarajan (King of sacrifice), This also explains the three Margas such as Karma Yoga, Bhakthi Yoga and Gyana Yoga to achieve liberation.
Excellent answer! The concepts of Dvaita, Visishtadvaita and Advaita are very difficult to explain to younger generation but we should make every effort to do so
Body perishes and soul is neither created nor destroyed then why we talk of liberation? Is it not enigmatic to think of liberation of soul?
