For some reason, I received a list of unique ways to worship God in my email this week. And for some reason, I opened and read the list. Some items from the list: . Rest. Take a nap. Thank God for sleep. . Worship God while watching a sunrise or sunset; delight in the artistic expression. . Listen to worship music from all different countries. . If you play an instrument, have a private time of worship by playing for an audience of One. . Rise up early in the morning for prayer in the stillness of night. . Practice silence by not speaking AND silencing the soundtrack in your mind. . Say something nice to a stranger Happy May, folks. I hope you find and follow whatever makes you feel closer to God or that power bigger than you. Trivia: May 2021 had 33 nominations for Finest Post! Would be great to top that. .
My dear Anna I wanted to nominate @1Sandhya's reply to.@Rosequeen 's post Why Do Women Today Choose Conflict To Resolve Domestic Issues?
Rihana, Sometimes someone starts a thread and you think about an appropriate response for a couple of days and come up with more questions than answers. Your thinking mind is exhausted but you don’t still find justifications for your pro and con arguments. I really love such posts that make me put in the work. @HariLakhera has successfully started many though provoking and debate worthy threads. Whose Lie Is Not Untruth? is one of them. There is neither a true or an untrue response for this thread. It made me think hard and I really liked all the responses so far. I’d love to nominate this thread for FP!
Rihana, Disagree amicably - this has been the mantra for me in real life, lately. It’s really hard to be that neutral person and I’m almost giving up on that front. Picking sides is easy, hearing out the other opinion without bias, needs practice. @MadhuRK said it best with her response here The Art Of Disagreeing Meaningfully Taking people along - that’s the best way to look at it! I’m not sure how successful I’ll be at this but I’m going to definitely try. I think everyone should give this post a read. It has a lot of good points on how not to be so one sided and take everyone’s opinions into consideration. I’d love to nominate this post by MadhuRK for finest post.
My pyari Rihana My My Next nomination is @HariLakhera's latest post Pleasures Of Living As A Tenant ,
Soul treated as a Tenant - wonderful and one could stretch to mean many things at the same time in mundaneandspiritual as well. I am flooded with thoughts which I would down load awhile later in the post which I nominate with pleasure for the current month May 2022 as FP. Pleasures Of Living As A Tenant
