How Do I Tie This Sash With Buckle At The End

    I bought a maxi dress that came with sash that has buckle in end see right of photo

    the sash wraps around my waist several times, it’s 26” waist

    I don’t even know what to Google

    how would I tie this?

    Can you check the dress description if you bought it online? What does it say about the belt? Looks like it may be called d-ring belt or ring belt.

    @SuiDhaaga - Just like scarves, every time I have a long belt, I have to watch a tutorial somewhere to make it work. Well, back when I wore belts that is.

    I like to double loop it because I’m short and the belt ends up too long. I like this tutorial(haven’t seen it before now).

    Shorten the belt by removing the buckle, cutting off the excess belt and then sewing the buckle back on.

    Lazy way: Wear the belt as usual passing it through the buckle. Then wrap the belt around your waist again and through the buckle one more time. Having the double thickness in the buckle will secure it so it doesn't slip and loosen itself. Sew on a couple snaps or hooks to hold the excess belt in place if necessary.

    SD, how does AliExpress work? How long do they take to deliver goods? They have something (non-clothes) I covet.

    I wasn't invited, rightfully so, yet here I am. In my defense, I have a long unpleasant to-do list waiting for me.

    Sometimes it takes a month to arrive

    If package didn’t arrive after certain number of days, you can open dispute.

    please measure yourself when buying clothes!
