    jOYLOKHIPrecisely p;oliticians are responsible for this. If the ruling politicians of the state had left the matter rest instead of causing unnecessary provocatikon by banning the hijab things wouldn't have reached such a pass. Riots or no riots, they want polarization berween the communitiesa with the aim of creating a Hindu vote bank so that they can feather their nests remaining in power for a long long time. But I agree with you the thread is not the same as Hijab after all the thread is not visible but Hijab is. visible. IU wonder will these people try to force sikhs to get a haikrcut and shave? I don't think they would dare to. There will be a riot then. But Muslim giorare perceived as meek and submissikve. So target them.

    BTW in municipal elections in TN today Muslim women v who came to vote in Madurai were asked to remove their Hijaqbs by BJP people/ Angry voting staff and others walked out. The vioting resumed only after extra police was posted at the booths. These guys are spoiling for trouble aren't they.?
