    I am doing only this Gowri. That's why I don't update any time limit here. This makes the challenge easier for me like somedays I am able to walk only for 15 minutes and could read only very little. But as you said habit building is more important.

    Experience has taught me that if I don’t get the exercise part done in the morning, it is going to be hard. So, I stepped out as soon as I could in the morning. I do have to say that I was super glad I went out at 6.00 am for a walk. That moon slowly waning away from being full, the silhouettes of the trees with that moon in the backdrop, a neighbor here and there, the frigid weather, the warm clothing allowing me to enjoy it all – it simply was so worth it.

    And then I come across this word the same day – yup that’s the right word!

    Dear Gauri,

    I think I have mentioned many a time that I am super glad I showed up. Never ever regretted having shown up and worked out!
    I completely agree that this should be the mantra for everyone and while it is definitely better to do a few minutes than not do at all as we form the habit, if I were to tweak I would say 'show up where you know you will be held accountable' - this has worked for me with the gym habit. I looked at group fitness class at the time that worked for me, in a place close enough and I have worked consistently hard to just show up - the instructor takes care of teh rest.

    Thank you for sharing the updates. While I signed up, I have not been able to read or follow through. Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

    - Not eating until later in the day is becoming so natural to me and so is stepping out for walks !
    - My craving for caffeine is gone down subsequently for this time of the year(cold weather !!) compared to previous years . This is a major major improvement for me.
    - I journal a lot normally itself as I like to dump my worries and plans on paper and now becoming more methodical about it.
    - Sleep and meditation are still work in progress.
    - I am going to drop off reading books from my goal list as I am already studying a lot online for the online program I am attending and preparing for job interviews/soft skills .. at the end of day I just want to sleep without straining my eyes and brain any further . I am playing nice old Hindi songs (kishore kumar) before sleep which really clams me down and makes me feel 20 years younger. I used to listen to Kishore kumar songs when I was in undergrad college for some reason.
