Sorry, saw your msg just today.

well. i hve been in Dubai for the past 12 yrs. Hve a kid who is about 9 now. We shifted to Springs just last november.

Burdubai and Karama areas were more busy compared to Springs area. Places were more quickly accessible. It's sort of quiet here, but i've quite adjusted to it. I spend most of my time browsing the net.

Well, there is India club at Dubai, but not in our area.

Let's all meet after the eid holidays. we'll fix up a day and time later.

My name is Hessa and i am from dubai. I have a final group project which i am currently working on and i desperatly need your help. This project is for my "intercutural communication" class in the university and my group's topic is about "Indian culture in the UAE". I want to know..

1) What kind of places do you visitfrequently and why? (malls, parks...etc)
2) Are there certain places you gather as a culture?
3) Are you open to gatherings with other cultures?
4) Is India media available in the UAE? (TV, Radio and newspaper).
5) Where do you live in the UAE? (Name places not just the state)
6) Are there certain areas and neighborhoods?
7) Are your houses decorated in a certain theme?
And finally 8) Do people from different financial status live in different kinds of houses?

I want info about these pionts in all 7 emirates. AbuDhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khayma, and Al Fujairah.

I would really appreciate if you could help me out here. I'm desperate.

I registered on this site today and found exactly what I wanted. I've been living in the springs for the last 4 yrs but havent found a single Indian friend. I wish I could make a big group of Indian ladies as we did back in India and hang out together,maybe watch some bollywood films to start with. I am a housewife and have 14 month old daughter. Please do get in touch.

Thanks so much for the reply....i am really happy u replied yaar ...i am really lost on this site..do'nt knw any thing....still getting hang of things......yaa i am really excited.....mu hubby is in bur dubai these days......i am planning to cum to dubai in the month of june..will stay for one month see n make few arrangements...then again cum bak to delhi..will resign from my current job n will finally join him with my daughter....i'v heard moth of july n sep. are really hot????? so wanted to postpone my final shifting....any suggestion...
