I was away for few months from IL and today this post made me a little emotional .How i wished someone to say this!!! Thank you so much.

"On Being a Muslim" ...I am a Muslim who initially faced a lot here in IL itself though those who were welcoming and supportive including induslady herself and many others than those few who tried to instigate hatred. In fact, IL had to ban a few of them those days.

No need to thank, Mam. I only said the obvious. The responsibility lies on
society as a whole in general and Muslim parents, in particular, to ensure that their children get a good education and do not turn to terrorist groups like ISIS, Bokoharam, and others. Proper professional education will lead them to a life of earning a life of plenty and peace.

All the three countries, mentioned by you, are Islamic Countries. Pakistan and Bangladesh were formed on the premise only. Some Hindus decided to stay back particularly in the Sindh region.
Most of them converted to Islam.

As I said, write or wrong, Muslims are identified with Terrorism and terrorism has become a business more than faith. You will be shocked to know how ISIS recruits its soldiers. All measures-kidnapping of young kids, extortion, the killing of nay sayers, promise of heaven are used. They indulge in the drugs trade to fund the organization.
Ordinary common muslim want to live in peace and progress with time.

The tragedy is that even so-called 'educated, elite' Muslims do not speak up against terrorist activities carried out in the name of their religion - except a handful. Sad state of affairs. Mutual fear and hatred cannot do us any good.
