Day, 44: 04-12-2021 : Time 7:00 to 7 10 am Duration : 10 mins. Experience: gonna have a long day today with some classes. So wanted to finish meditation as part of wake up routine. Here I get a lot of thoughts about the day ahead. It's disturbing. But it's okay. I was trying to not carried away n was with the breadths..
Day 45: 05-12-2021 : Duratiomm 10 mins Time : 10 30-10 40 Experience: did a series of meditation during bed time. It was all free of thoughts and more of gratitude for yet again a beautiful day. However I slipped into sleep during the session. Day 46: 06-12-2021 Duration 10 mins Time : 7 00 am to 7 pm Experience: in order to control thoughts I did very deep breathe in and breathe out. From today I'm starting my 75 hard challenge. So I'm planning to finish as much as I can in the morning. Meditation done. Feels good and I'm energised to finish other tasks.
Day 47: 07-12-2021 Duration : 10 mins Time : 7 15 : 7 25 am Experience: Some decisions are pending and they have occupied my mind completely. As soon as I woke up had a conversation with my hubby and after that I sat for meditation. Pre dominantly the decision making thought was occupied. I was trying to just let go n cone back to breadths.

Bumping this thread with a question for beginner or re-beginner meditation: A beginner sets a goal of 12 minutes of meditation practice each day. The time is fixed: right after brushing teeth. The practice is happening quite regularly but there are many days when the quality of meditation is low. What do beginners do on such days? Is there such a thing as "stop and restart the day's 12 minutes" or "try another 12 minutes at a different time in the day?" I understand that meditation does not mean achieving a perfect 12 minutes each day. But, what if the day's meditation is really bad? One just waits for the next day's meditation? I am leaning towards something like instead of 12 minutes once a day, aim to meditate 8-10 minutes thrice a day. Only one chance a day is too much pressure... So, the question is what do beginners do on days when the meditation is really bad?
