I eat between 12pm and 6pm. In the morning I cheat a little by drinking black coffee with a tablespoon of heavy cream. That and lots of water keep me going till noon. On working days it is quite easy because there is no time to think about food. Weekends are definitely harder. Drinking hot herbal teas helps a lot. In the evenings I make it a point to have a proper meal at 5:30. I cook in the evenings so often I eat the previous day’s dinner then cook a fresh dinner for the family. When I don’t have leftovers, I keep frozen meals from Trader Joe’s handy. One of those combined with a bagged salad and a boiled egg makes for a filling dinner. I know if I don’t eat right before 6 I won’t be able to fast until the next day so I prioritize eating just before the time limit. After 6pm I don’t feel hungry until 9-10 pm. Most days I am asleep by that time. If not, again hot teas are a go to for curbing hunger pangs. I drink a lot of green tea and spearmint tea during my waking fasting hours.

Welcome @NOW and @Viswamitra ! Happy to have your company! The rules are not set in stone. It’s perfectly okay to tweak the goals after a week or so based on what is and isn’t working. The motto is progress not perfection. : )

I agree with you. I eat my first meal at 12 noon and the second at 5:30 pm. Especially after my walk in the morning, I feel hungry but work keeps my mind distracted. I can’t think of a meal until 12 noon anyway. If I take my dinner at 5:30 pm., I don’t feel hungry until I go to bed. :)

    Day 1 - Nov 30th

    1. Sleep before 10 pm - Done
    2. Limit caffeine - Done
    3. Intermittent fasting 16:8 - Done
    4. 45 min Walk - Done
    5. Meditation 15 mins - Done (more of breathing session as it was hard to focus)
    6. Self improvement - Journaling - Done

Looks like intermittent fasting and exercise are the easier ones for me to follow and need to be careful about the rest. The pattern is that anything that needs more inner silence and resilience is hard for me ! Physical movement and curbing hunger are the easier ones :) Not surprised though !!

Hola folks! So I completed the tasks day before but couldn’t keep up yesterday. My upper back has been completely seized up for the last two days. Every movement is excruciating. These type of flare ups have been a persistent problem for me. Usually they subside in a few days but can last longer. I did most of my tasks but couldn’t exercise yesterday and today. Hoping to see some improvement by tomorrow and get back on track. Since it’s only been a few days, I’m just going to start all over again.
