Why I assumed it was shivan because I sang thirusavagam daily. Its quoted in annai pattu song, 'vella kalingatar, ventuyar mundatar, pallikupayatar annai ennum'. Tats why I felt it was Shiva.

Also just to share, when I was pregnant 4 years ago with my daughter. I had sivan related dream continously for 3 pradhosam. It will early morning dream first I dream rudraksham beads, second sivan himself standing in front of me like a shadow, 3 was visiting sivan temple. I went and lit lamp in sivan temple after the 3rd dream and it got stopped.

Even my husband dreamt once that sivan was sitting like guarding me while I was sleeping and I was still pregnant that time.

 

I laughed on re reading. I came here too judge whether I can recommend this thread to @peddadas to get answer of her dream in which her Late Mil appeared.
