I had such a hard time initially to start IF. Like you I am a morning person. It is impossible for me to not eat in the morning. But I started very slow and gave myself a lot of time to get into 14 hour fasting window. I first did a 12 hour and gradually increased the fasting window to 14 hours. Some days I do 15 hours but then that is the max fasting window I could do. The first thing I have in the morning is a glass of warm water. After some 20 mins have my coffee and rusk. Later I have breakfast. I will not get headaches but will be giddy if I don't eat in the morning. My eating window is 8 AM to 6 PM. Also my last meal before the eating window closes would be something rich in protein and fat that helps me stay full till I go to bed.

Nice to see you back @Sandhya13. Kudos on the success at work! You have a wonderful infectious energy about you. I’m sure your work colleagues are as grateful to have you around as we are here. : )

Thanks for the mid-challenge review @SunPa. Now that you mention strength training I wonder if we need to make a space to talk about weight training for women. There seems to be enough interest.

@lavani Thanks for nominating the thread! You know on some of the 75 hard forums I browse there are folks on day 200, after restarting dozens of times. That is the hidden benefit built into the program. Restarting doesn’t mean that your progress is lost. Each day you complete is a net gain to your fitness and resilience. Keep going!

Now that yoga and meditation have become a part of my everyday routine I want to add the missing piece in the trifecta — pranayama. I learned the basics from my dad years ago but recently found an online class that digs deep into the practice. Will update once I complete a few lessons.

    Good going ladies!

Last week was a very rough week. Somehow managed to continue the challenge till Wednesday. But Thursday I couldn't walk or read and today I didnt follow the diet. Hope to start again.
But a person like me has followed a challenge for 17 days is in itself a big achievement. Thanks to you all ladies for the huge support.
Let me see if I can join you all from August 1st.

    Dear @stayblessed,

So sorry that you had a rough week. Whatever we do, we have to take pride in that and I know that any amount of discipline is a learning process. Amazing job. Doesn't matter how many times we fall, but picking back up is important and I am happy you have a date scheduled.
