We have starbucks versimo single serve k- fee expresso machine. I cant find the exact model in Amazon. I noticed a few in ebay. Its easy to operate and maintain. Compact too.
My dh uses starbucks versimo coffee podes dark roast, that's available in Amazon or other stores.

    Looks like the one below

I like Nespresso also and yes the pods add up, however, I make a "for me" thing since I do so little for myself that a few more things like this would be great. I love the coffee also more than any fresh beans that I have bought and I have bought many.

In one phase of our life, we were cappachino lovers. Inspite of my resistance, my H bought cappa machine from walmart, cheapest one as a test 20-20$ . Slowly more gadgets were needed , like coffee press, fresh coffee, carafe, frother, etc. It all added to costs. We used to get fresh grounds. It never came out like some good restaurant cappachino( not talking about Starbucks)

We loved coffee but too much work, clean up & maintenance of these small small accessories is too much. I heard nespresso ( which was my dream machine that time) is very good and having k-cups is much easier.

Now, after that my cappachino love was gone and it is storage. My kids use some of accessories to play ;-)
and now, i am back to indian instant coffee..
Unless you are a coffee lover, i do not think its worth.
