He's not worth the Salt of Your Tears
    Learn this
    It may take Months
    It may even take Years

He's not worth the Salt of Your Tears
    You are pressured
    To Garland the devil
Out of your own Insecurities and Fears

He's not worth the Salt of Your Tears
    You were the perfect Angel
    You bent over backwards
So he would stop humiliating you
    And causing you Nightmares

The best revenge is to live Well
Create a beautiful life for yourself
    Fill your home with flowers
    So you will permeate
    With a lovely Smell

The best revenge is to live Well
Once you do charity in your home
    Help your neighbor
    Bring them a lovely gift
    And ring their Doorbell

The best revenge is to live Well
Perhaps you will find a Worthy Angel
With whom you will enjoy Existence
And get along with just Swell

Wow! @SuiDhaaga What a response. This is like watching a rally in tennis that you wanna watch again and again. Something like, Venus Williams is on a small break or let's just say mini-vacation so Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka decide to play a charity match and we are all invited to watch the match :)

PS: I really like your signature style of posting a pic to go with the poem  Indeed, a pic is worth a 1000 words.

Nice one! I like the title too ! I really liked these lines ,

    “You are pressured
    To Garland the devil
Out of your own Insecurities and Fears”

It shows a balance, you are not exactly victimizing yourself, but recognize what may have led to garland the devil ! But it doesn’t steal the thunder of the pain you are feeling!

    And these lines,

“The best revenge is to live Well
Create a beautiful life for yourself
    Fill your home with flowers
    So you will permeate
    With a lovely Smell”

I cannot agree more! Your poem has a real quality and elegance SuiDhaga! It surely permeates fragrance and a little bit sadness ! Keep up the good work !

    Thank you so much!

Even though we move ahead from the hurt, we still feel pain. But the pain lessens over time.

What a lovely ways express sadness and hope.
What was the trigger for such an outpouring?

I enjoyed this poem to core.

It is said God is omnipresent. So He is in devil too. Devils are too creation of God! At times it looks every human being contain a bit of devil and more of God which Is revealed at times of estrangement.

But then to discover an iota of Godliness in Devils, Devis have to bear them with fortitude.

Thanks for embellishing the post with added attraction:
picture of blooming flowers in riot of colours.

It was Mistt's poem, "Careful be careful" that made me respond.

Thank you for the wonderful comments!
