    This I agree Gauri!
I have been working out on Mon/Wed/Fri at 5.30am for years now (close to 12!) and I know if I don't do that, I won't for the rest of the day. Sat/Sun, I teach atleast a couple of yoga classes. So that is taken care of too! With exercise comes need for water.

My challenge days have been Tue/thur. Now, thanks to this challenege I have started my own yoga practice at the same time - don't know how long I will sustain that.

My only criteria has been an early am group fitness class in a close enough gym - didn't matter what it was.

I think a longterm goal like this will help us iron out little details like this and it is wonderful to have that comapny! Keep at it ladies.

Just noticing that yesterday’s log has the incorrect date. Should have been June 9th.

Ladies doing IF what timings do you follow for your fasting window?

    Gauri,

I do 8pm to 12 noon. With school in session, it was easy to follow though there were other drawbacks there - I would snack after I cam home from school and then do dinner also, which made me feel very heavy.
With summer break now, I have a better control but I usually report as more than 14 hours only because I end up drinking some coffee with milk :tired: but practicing self care - like my DH likes to remind me - it is not a race but a marathon, life style change is what I am looking at!

Getting difficult to maintain consistency. But that's what the challenge is about :) let's see how far I can go..

You’re doing great! On days when you can’t muster enough motivation to meet your goals lower the targets but don’t give up. It is easier to recover from a day of doing less, than a day of doing nothing at all. Sometimes it is prudent to sacrifice intensity to save consistency.

So much this! My hope for these 75 days is to find a way to incorporate a sustainable version of these habits into my daily routine. What you said earlier about ironing out the details was right on point. I’m looking at IF as a way to transition out of calorie counting which, though effective, is tedious. I really want to try eating more intuitively. I already do a 24 hour fast from Sunday evenings to Monday evenings. I consume only green tea and kombucha in that period. I know kombucha isn’t strictly kosher for fasting but I think I need that little bit of sugar. Going to start with a 10am-6pm eating window and tweak as necessary.
