Sanitizing Silk Saree

Is it necessary to sanitize the saree?
If you leave it unopened for some days won’t it suffice..
I have no idea, but that’s very what I would do if I get any package which can’t be sanitized.. leave it unopened from for a few days and then use it.

 

I read somewhere that with infectious droplets on polyester having the longest survival rate at 72 hours.
The virus on 100% cotton can be found for up to 24 hours and on polycotton for six hours.
So, it is good if you Wear your new saree after 3 to 4 days.

 

Dont touch it for a week. Keep it in sun if you can.

 

Now it is spring, you can spread in the sunlight for 20 minutes then it is naturally sanitized.
