Twitter Bans Kangana Ranaut - Needed?

She is a good actress. Some of her ideologies are good like not endorsing fairness creams.

Apart from that, she seems to use topics toher own advantage by talking what she thinks ( and not facts)... she has been Modi-pro since the form of the govt...
Recently, some one has even gone as far as saying she is Modi's Thalaivi ( which is too flimsy of a comment). She seems to have riled up with anger and negativity on her twitter and thus been walked out of it.

However, twitter sometimes gets worse...this is not the worst I have seen; may be the calling both people gundai did the job.

 

She is misusing Freedom of speech to a great extent. Imagine if we women, in normal families keep bashing all relatives or people we don't like openly, can we even expect someone to like to be associated with us?

Good they banned her. Both the sisters actually need therapy. Hopefully they realize this soon and maintain low profile for sometime.

 

@abc00 We don't do that because we are sensible people. If we start doing that, all our relatives o& people will similarly do that, and it will only be NOISE.

I hope she focuses on what she does best, acting and give the online bashing of others a rest. She is making it harder to like her as a person. And yes, inciting violence is good enough reason for a twitter ban.

 

The banning is not going to have any effect on me! Ban might give her wider publicity for her political ambitions if any. Twitter did this banning on their own! Dubious.
2. Residing in India, it is not safe to take sides in commenting about her tweets as there is a possibility it will result in person getting targeted leading to double whammy.
3. The picture “thalaivi” was to release on April 23 but due to COVID second wave stands postponed. The producer director and staff in one voice hail her understanding of the thalavi story and her cooperation during picturisation.
4. Twitter was not knowing, that banning has contributed in a kind of popularity & publicity for her Tamil movie that is yet to be released.

She is definitely aiming for some political position, we will have to wait and watch, to see where she ends up.

Facebook was condemned in the case of Rohinjas. Public platforms have a responsibility attached to their existence.
The extent of their responsibilities may be different for US, India, Myanmar or in Antarctica.
