Am happy with India street food and Taco Bell massages once in a while as little splurge.. what are the things that truly mean a lot to you?
@anika987, random observation: If your thread is about feeling sad, lost, hurt or missing India, it runs to multiple pages just like that. Upbeat thread like this or similarly cheerful ones in the recent past languish with no or few replies. : ) Done random observation. >> what are the things that truly mean a lot to you? Currently, the list is very simple. - a good find in Amazon.com - folding freshly washed clothes - disappearing from the kitchen when time to clean groceries and put them away - a good movie on Netflix or Amazon - having the house to myself for a few hours in the weekend - getting the backyard ready for spring
We are very similar. I too like all your list except for yoga. I love massages and facials. I like to help any disabled person. Gives me immense happiness.
I also never liked yoga but once you start trying..you will feel a huge difference in your emotional quotient within few months.. you will feel uncomfortable without starting your day without yoga it makes you feel fantastic! Just a suggestion
Like the Stillwater Panda, kuch na karo , kuch bhi na karo, phir bhi my mind goes ballistic with excitement and maniacal excitement just by thinking the thoughts over a roof. What I truly desire is to sustain this ability in me to think enjoyably about trivial thoughts. I love that in me! I enjoy that! And truly desire to hold on to such gooffilicious state of mind.
Dear @anika987 Thats a beautiful thread.... I love the below things.... 1. Staying with family and yet having my little time. 2. Seeing that little smile on my husband's face, which still melts my heart. 3. Watching my kids play and laugh until they have tears. 4. Continue the conversation with my bestie from wherever i left, no matter whenever i talk. 5. Eating ice-cream withour having a sensitive teeth. 6. Watching lovely soul touching movie, where the climax just touches my heart, mind and soul. 7. Reading a wonderful book and getting lost in it. 8. Sipping my cuppa chai without any disturbance. 9. Cool breeze in the morning. 10. Buying things for my need and not want. 11. Having a non tangle and lively hair. 12. When my elder daughter writes random short sweet notes for me. 14. When my younger daughter asks for me, and looks for me even in the crowd. 15. Discovering new snacks every time I go to india. 16. Taking things one at a time.
I just realized we are all simple people in heart Beautiful list!Love point no 10 and 15.. What we truly desire has nothing to do with status or money. If everyone starts self reflecting like this..the world would be a more beautiful place
Additionally, in recent times, I have enjoyed interactions in sidekick groups in social apps with boatloads of humour and creativity. Away from the hackneyed and bland observations of main groups, I enjoy interactions in these offbeat and quirky groups. With breezy humour and easy-going sensibility, I throughly desire the spontaneity in their puns and quips. So, in short, truly desire fun-spiked conversations, spoofy nerds, humour analysts and their narratives on their ineptitude to deal with the inscrutable society at large. Riotously funny folks! (identified as: few of my favourite things)
