Dear All February has ended as quickly as it started. Tamil Nadu Government has declared 'all pass to the next grade'. Students are beaming. There is nothing like a promotion without any examination. Corona may have its horror background but it carries the cheerful sentiment of the young students. Left to myself, I would also love to declare the eighteen nominations as the Finest Posts, but that would be sheer escapism. It is true that all the nominated posts are excellent stuff, but the format of the contest demands that only one post can be declared a winner. So I read all the nominated posts again and again. A thread is opened by a member that concludes with a poignant sentiment reading 'I feel stupid sometimes, creating such kind of threads...but what to do.' and a member runs to assuage her feelings. She does not handout any fancy solution for she has no such solution. Instead, she is extremely honest about her inability to solve the problem but assures her "We will all rally behind you without judging you" This is the quintessence of IL kinship that makes the community what it is! I have great pleasure in announcing @winterhue as the Winner of the Finest Post Award for her response in the thread How Can I Feel Genuinely Happy For Others' Happy News? Thank you, @iyerviji for your nomination of the Winning Post. Thank you, @Viswamitra and @Rihana for your wonderful contribution in selecting the Nominations.
@winterhue A response on a thread “ how she can genuine be happy for others’ Happiness” won the February Award for Best contribution to you. I am genuinely happy of your winning ! Congratulations.
@winterhue, Congratulations on winning the finest post-award for the month of February 2021. It brings so much happiness to find 6 posts and nominate them every month and that happiness doubles when we come to know one of them was awarded as the finest for the month. Congratulations @iyerviji Akka for nominating her post.
Thank you everyone!! @iyerviji for the nomination , @Viswamitra ,@Rihana , @Thyagarajan ,@satchitananda ,@Cheeniya for all the kind words! This is the best way to start a Monday IL is truly like a virtual family - we have opinions, fun chats, sometimes we may have small squabbles, we disagree , but we all are here for each other . Thanks again!
@winterhue - Congratulations! Your post is on point. I’m sure it will help others in in a similar situation as well. I know I picked up a few points from your post.
Well-deserved, @winterhue. You should write more often. Everyone should have a friend or two who will be there for them as described so well in the post. So much solace in that post and so much to learn in how to be there for a friend. How nice and heart-lightening to be told, "The storm will weaken. Until then, we are all here for you." @Cheeniya, yours is a tough job that you accomplish with aplomb. But this time you have surpassed yourself. Well chosen and an apt announcement.
