Hello, for the front neck a depth of 7 inches or more is going to be deep neck. The pattern or shape is something you can decide based on your preference. Back can be cut deep as much as you want and are comfortable with. As far as dropping shoulder problems go, when cutting the neckline, ALWAYS taper the upper section of the cuts inwards (towards the neck) and the stitch on top of the shoulder that joins the front and the back palla should be an inward slant stitch rather than a straight stitch to have them stick to your shoulders. Another very important factor is the shape of the arm cut (or armhole if going sleeveless) too tight fit around the upper arms would loosen the shoulder fit relatively and they would start dropping or falling. A slight deeper armhole which mirrors the front neck flow will keep the shoulders stay in place. Hope it helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Happy stitching

    Hi @mitali123 ,
I would like to have your advice here. Asking here because it is a top stitching thread.

I cut a silk saree to two parts. removed the pallu separatly. One half of the saree I made a skirt for myself. I have the second half.
I would like to try a stitch a top for myself in that. Would like your advice in stitching for a beginner please.
I see a lot of tutorial stitching videos. Do you have a tutorial channel of your own or one that is easy for beginners to follow?

Thanks. Looking forward for your advice.
