I didn't get what she was to you. I am thinking she was a family member. I understand the pain of wanting it to let it all out but not finding an understanding mind to do so. Offloading that burden in the heart is such a relief. As someone mentioned, try to voice it out here. I hope you get relief from your pain whatever it is.

As this is an anonymous forum, I am not sure I ought to volunteer any more of her information here.
Besides some frivolous, and therapeutic postings on this forum, I have found some advisory on the Mayo clinic site on how much to drink each day.

:hello:Fellow IL’ites trusted OP had managed to cope.
But then he cites another site that recommends moderation in quantum of drinking not for overcoming unusual anxieties and stresses but for other purposes.
    Inter alia advisory ibid states

“Alcohol can damage your body’s organs and lead to various health concerns. For women, this damage happens with lower doses of alcohol, because their bodies have lower water content than men. That’s why the moderate drinking guidelines for women and men are so different.

The specific organ damage that happens with too much alcohol use varies considerably from one person to another. The most common health effects include heart, liver and nerve damage, as well as memory problems and sexual dysfunction.”

I presume OP had taken the advice in right earnest to guard his health.
