On the ground reality is very different. Those of us making calls/texts are trying to stay optimistic. It’s hard to do this day in and day out. I’m not hearing a resounding yes from voters and this close to Election Day, God has to intervene to help some of the TX Dems and of course Biden.
Why is he not out campaigning in key swing states? This is the last week before the elections. Something seems odd. Let’s hope they pull through somehow for the sake of our kids.

No one needs to be holding rallies when Covid is once again running amok in many places. Except for a certain stable genius. I think Biden winning Texas is unlikely though he’ll probably have a smaller margin of loss.

I’m talking about presence not rallies. Going in person beats anything he’s doing right now. Right now, I’m not hearing from either of them. They need to be out there talking to the media. I’m only seeing Trump and Amy covid barrett in the media. I believe it’s hurting them. They need to be seen and heard.

In TX, we aren’t looking at a Biden win but a win in the TX senate. Without Biden/Harris showing up it’s hard for the local candidates. Usually down ballot candidates get through because of the momentum. They haven’t shown any interest in the state. They have raised a lot of money from TX. On the ground volunteers and dems have requested multiple times for some sort of presence in TX, especially since house seats are close to flipping. Some candidates are contesting on districts where traditionally Dems lost by landslides and the last election they either won by a hair or lost by a less than one percent margin. Those candidates could use the boost.

Yes, thats why Bernie Sanders should have been the democratic candidate. But the democratic party and the democratic media ( CNN, CNBC and a lot of others ) will not let the Bernie Sanders of the world survive. We will have to live with this.

^^^ Words like Liberal, socialism, Communal welfare (one word for this is ?) are dog-whistles in America. They signal concepts totally different from what they literally mean.

The elections are funded by those who get to win. In the meantime, we are likely headed to a decade of difficulties.
The top worries of the population, Healthcare and Economy will be fuzzified in policy without getting to any real solution. Control will shift from one party to the other and winners will always be the sponsors.

Biden's continued support to transfer money to Healthcare Insurance Industry is the most abhorrent policy. When tens of millions are unemployed, with the tenuous chance for their employment coming back after Covid is under control, all their employment-linked healthcare access will be gone. Obamacare will be too darn expensive for too little coverage. Depression and suicides will increase. Like Biden promises...Dark Days are ahead.

Here is a American Born Telugu Child ( Saagar Enjeti is only 28 years old) on Hill TV. He used to be white house correspondent.

His daily conversation with Aunty Krystal is very enlightening. They are on TV five days a week. Google "the hill rising"

USA people are in an Economic Mess.... no matter how the elections turn out.

In 2016, 45% of the eligible 250 million voting age adults DID NOT Vote. Yet again, the elected government, all three branches of the federal government, is telling them, what's the point of voting.

A quick update before I get busy. I spoke to many Desi voters the last few days. The feeling is the same. They are worried about race relations, living in a red state under DT. Will that translate to enough votes for Joe? No idea but the down ballot dems are looking good. This is the first time where a majority of the people are happy to talk to us when we call and mention the down ballot dem names. There are a few that are still iffy. Those are the men in the 30-39 age ranges. Even they didn’t blow me off completely. Even they agreed that TX statehouse needs Dem reps. Fingers crossed. Unless turnout in key counties(we are looking at four) don’t surpass 65% this won’t mean a thing.
Added: I was surprised by the top priority for Desis. I thought it would be economy/taxes and had some talking points prepped. I didn’t expect so many people worried about racism. I don’t know what to say.
