    Hi Chithra

Very glad to know that you are going to Singapore with your grand daughter Prarthana for 4 days, and also meeting the Singapore iLites there on Sunday.

Have nice and safe trip and free yourself from the arduous daily routine at home.

I am sure Singapore iLites will make your stay and trip a very pleasant and memorable one.

    With Warm Regards
    Shantisubra

    Dear banuma,
let me tell you as Chithra is out of station, rather out of country.
Please look up the recipe for the Instantkurma mix in the Miscellaneous or Jiffy cooking sub forum. She has given wonderful recipe for instant kurma which I regularly use when I am in a hurry. Prepare it and keep it. It is so handy.

    Dear Chithra,
is there a different method for making pitlai with chundakkai? Now that is available aplenty here so thought I would make it. Once I had made, some years back, on the guidance of a very old family friend. She got it from her garden and guided me inmaking it. It was nice. Please do take your time, you must be busy with so many things now.

    Dear Prithu,
I am not sure, but I think rice paper is used in craft making!

Re: what to do with rice papers

    Dear Chithra,
I bought the atta from Ration shop last week. I sieved the flour well, around 10% roughage was there. I cannot expect it to be as good as the branded ones, but still it is more rough. How can I make it softer?

Re: what to do with rice papers

    Dear Varloo,
I too buy only that. Please do not sieve - roughage is good. Atta kneader makes a super-dough with that atta. Don't worry, just go ahead!!
    Atta kneader irukka bayam aen?
    Love,
    Chithra.
