when you have rouges like this and the politicians who support the rouges then there will be always problem.
The ad just showed interfaith love. India is not ready for this ad or any interfaith ad anytime in the near future. Patriarchy has always been deep routed in indian society irrespective of religion.
I dint find anything controversial in this beautiful ad. If the girl was dressed up as a Muslim then atleast controversy makes sense. But here she is still shown as a Hindu with her Muslim relatives around. They are still trying to respect her religion and her wishes. These days social media is only known for controversies. Be it anything regarding to Movie stars(SSR case) or anything in general..
SSR death is controversial....there are many loose ends to it. some answers we would never know. One thing social media has done related to it is to open our eyes on garbage that bollyywod provided ( not all ) be it content or music. im very very cautious now in my choice on what to watch. I was earlier also but now its more.
I really don't get what is offensive in the ad. what exactly is making the people uncomfortable? why can't religions mix, intermarry or be friends??? Maybe cheesy which most Indian movies and ads are!
