My dads friends are in their 70's in the US. But they had not saved well and now they are actually broke. They are US citizens as they have come to the US a long time ago. But they had spent all money on family relatives in India. How can they earn an income in the US at this age. They don't like depending on kids. Can they do a business like subway? Any other ideas. Working a full time job at this age is hard and impossible.
I see a lot of older people working retail. Do they want to work at Subway or own one? Owning a franchise will involve several hundreds of thousands of dollars in upfront costs and it is very hard work.
Licensed Insurance agent/broker ,Financial advisor,Real estate office jobs,Rental properties maintenance manager are few jobs where I see lots of seniors working after their retirement.
Lot of ladies do babysitting or live in nanny job. For male person some cash counter job in Indian s store is possible.
If they have any special skills, they can start a YouTube channel. It will succeed only if they are dedicated to it. Age doesn't matter.
I believe if they are citizens they can claim social security retirement benefits. If not they own a house or any residential properties they can do airbnb by renting out the rooms. I see this as the easiest low investment approach.
If they had any funds, they could invest. Nowadays, cryptocurrency provides very great opportunities. You can buy and sell cryptocurrencies and generate income. There are many cryptocurrency exchanges, I chose Bikkex exchange. Would they like to consider such a direction for investment?
