Hi @Sony23, have your tea but have a biscuit or soaked almond before having your tea (that's what the Dietician Rujuta Diwakar says)
I would ask to avoid sweetener as it has it's own side affects on long run.

    Guys,

I am yet to visit a Gynec... But my recent scan report says I have a small cyst (fibroid) in the uterus & some hormonal imbalance - probably since my last delivery (its been 7 years).
Probably Gynecologist will prescribe hormonal pills (daily use) from tomorrow onwards...

In the meantime, my friends say it may be the cause for slow metabolism and weight gain though I have been cautious about my diet/ no sugar intake since a long time.

Now that, I want you all to check your hormones, not just the PCOD but thyroid, and several others before you set your weight loss goal. Because, no amount of hardwork, tiring exercise or strict diet can give you the result unless your hormones support you.

    Just a word of caution

    Hi SGBV,

    Thanks for your inputs.
yes i have also noticed that despite of being of a strict diet and exercise sometimes there is no change in scale.
understand that hormonal imbalances might be a reason.
My doc has asked me to repeat the test during next cycle to confirm on the levels. i think there might be medications after that.

    Friends,
how do we maintain the hormones in a balanced manner. We manage home/kids/office/husband and of course we will have stress. :sconf:
