Looking For Weight Loss Buddy..lets Stay Motivated Together!

    Hi, please count me in.

    I want to loose 5 kg and that I have been trying on and off since long time. This time I really want to be responsible and do workout regularly.

    I will update my diet along with workout details everyday here.

    I am glad you opened this thread and happy that everyone is updating daily which I really needed to motivate myself.

    Guys, hope you all are fit & healthy.
    Please count me in....

    I need to lose max 10 kgs in 4 months & I hope it is doable with basic life style changes as I did the same before many times.
    (Just that, I don't stick with a plan, and with my busy work/life matters, I end up gaining back everything).

    Nevertheless, I've decided to start now.. so that, I would look good on Christmas. So, that's the motive behind.

    I started the day with a glass of warm water + Lemon juice + honey!

    Took my breakfast at 11 am - which means almost 14+ hrs of intermittent fasting since last night dinner. In between, I only had water.
    You are free to drink black tea/coffee/lemon+honey etc... but strictly without milk or sugar.

    I had 2 slices of bread + 1 omelette as breakfast.
    1 medium banana as desert

    I will have 1 cup of brown rice/fish & Egg plant curry for lunch.

    As for evening snack,
    I will have a cup of Ginger tea - with 1/2 spoon of brown sugar
    1 small patties - backed one as fried ones contains more oil - this one is optional based on availability ;(

    Dinner would be 5 medium string hoppers (on a smaller side)
    Coconut Sambal (smaller qantity)
    Fish curry
    1 banana as desert

    *** Bananas are my weakness, and I really need them to manage my sweet tooth. Else, I may end up having sweets or chocolates, which is tricky.

    As for the exercise....
    I did gardening for 1 hr early in the morning
    It included sweeping, lifting the pots, etc...
    I cleaned my home for 40 mins
    Including sweeping, mopping, dusting etc.... and FYI, my home is huge.

    I will be doing 20 crunching exercise/tummy exercise + 20 mins of skipping in the evening
    I will also walk not jogging, but walking relaxly) to the beach with my H for about 30m with my H later tonight.

    This will probably be my day for the next 30 days or so.....

    I hope to keep my calories below 1800 per day, and I do the check using my fitness pal app.
    I have a smart watch that counts burnt calories while working, walking etc.... So, I know how much I can burn daily.

    Let's update each other's day... and count our weights after 10 days to feel the magic.

    Weight - 78.1
    Did 15 min of treadmill, walking only.
    And did weights (4kg)- bicep curls, triceps, lateral rise.
    And then hip exercises, 4 sets, 20 count each.
    Breakfast - 2 rotis
    Lunch - 2 rotis with 2 curries + 1 fruit or 1 glass of buttermilk
    Dinner will be 3 or 4 egg whites + fruits and milk.
    I followed this diet in my early 30's when i used to go to gym. I lost 10 kgs v.easily back then.
    I have gained nearly 15-20kgs now.
    Now i am in my early 40's and desperate to lose weight and tone my muscles .

    hi friends, I am 5 ' 3 and 74 kgs..i want to lose at least 10 kilos. I started week ago..I walk at least 6 to 8000 steps..lots of water and I eat simple homemade food.wish all of you good luck..we can do this

    Morning: tea
    Breakfast:2 dosas and one egg dosa
    Mid morning: tea
    Lunch:rice, sambar and bitter guard fry with curd
    Evening: tea
    Dinner:2 millets dosa

    Walked 7k steps today.

    hello buddies, I really cant do without morning chai..anyone else..I substitute sugar with monk fruit sweetener, will it affect weight loss? if I don't drink tea my head starts hurting.
