Why Should we pre-wash a Saree Fall before Attaching it to Saree.

I can understand if you want to pre-wash the Saree Fall to make it shrink in case you attach to saree and then wash the saree ------ but who on Earth washes a saree??????

And even if you washed saree, my guess would be hand-wash in cold water?

But the way, I am in the process of attaching a cotton saree fall to a chiffon saree. Lots of safety pins and sewing clips needed!

Cotton saree fall may shrink after wash and a cotton saree may shrink as well. Therefore, either you wash none or you wash both.
    I hope it helps

Wow, I never thought of washing a cotton saree. So far I have one chiffon saree that I am teaching myself to attach fall to. And I have two georgette sarees that I am yet to touch.

    People wash cotton sarees? Amazing!

I guess if you don't wash saree and fall then need to clean it, you can always dry-clean.

Yes, we always have the option of getting the saree drycleaning (at least first time) to prevent chances of shrinkage.
