    Thanks @Divyasaravanan
Yes wish there was something to prevent such things :confounded:
I usually do not use razors much. But due to this pandemic I had no choice. Will never use a razor again :BangHead:

    Thanks @sarvantaryamini.
I usually do waxing. Very rarely I shave. But because of this pandemic I dint want to goto any salon.
I initially applied Veet. Since it dint remove the hair completely I used an old & washed Gillette razor which is the culprit.
I probably should start waxing myself.

Don't worry it won't be as painful as the infection. When they tried to remove the abscess without aneasthesia despite myself i cried and shouted in pain and then when they administered anaesthesia it was nothing. Its just a minute injection but they put in multiple places in the finger since there was so much puss. But definitely it didn't pain as much as the infection. Take care

Just go for a women's razor. You should get inexpensive ones in walmart, walgreens - any of those stores. Or just order online. Don't wax on your own, that may also give you injuries again. I forgot, you could even use a hair trimmer - only thing is it won't be as fine as a razor, but it should be good enough. Even the trimmer, you will get good ones which are not that expensive.

Did you nick yourself with the razor? I have been shaving since I came to the US many years ago and found that waxing is very expensive in the parlor here. Use a fresh women’s razor and a light touch. I like the 5-blade Venus razors which go on sale from time to time in Costco.

I think it was slippery because of the Veet and that made me shave too fast. Also it lead to 2/3 minor cuts on my arms.
But I’m not able to find any cut/rash near underarms except the huge bump.
